Setting Up IMAP on iOS 11 with rCloudWebSM

  1. From your home screen, find the Settings icon and tap on it to open it.
  2. Scroll to locate the Acconts & Passwords menu option and tap on it to proceed.
  3. Tap on Add Account.
  4. Tap to select Other as the category of account to add.
  5. Tap on Add Mail Account to continue.
  6. Fill in the details for each field and tap Next at the top right.

Enter the email address that you are creating this new account for. This needs to be the FULL email address.

7. Select which protocol to use to access your email. We use IMAP in our example, as this is the recommended.
8. Enter the Host Name for the Incoming Mail Server.
    a. Incoming server to use: server73.verygoodserver.com
9. Enter the FULL email address in the User Name field for the Incoming Mail Server.
10. The Password field for the Incoming Mail Server should contain the password you entered from the previous screen.
11. Enter the Host Name for the Outgoing Mail Server.
    a. Outgoing server to use: server73.verygoodserver.com
12. Enter the FULL email address in the User Name field for the Outgoing Mail Server.
13. Enter the password associated with the email address in the Password field for the Outgoing Mail Server.
14. Confirm all your settings are entered correctly, then proceed by tapping on Next at the top right.
15. Your iOS 11 device will proceed to verify a secure connection with the settings entered. By default, Mail is enabled (since we are setting up a Mail account), so you can proceed to tap on Save at the top right.
