San Diego, CA - April 06, 2009 - RedOrum (www.redorum.com) with Stay Classy (www.stayclassy.org) , and with many other organizations like San Diego Youth Services, are fund raising to build a homeless shelter for children and young adults in San Diego, CA.
There are over 2,200 abandoned children and young adults that are victims of abuse, violence, and neglect - all without a home, and all alone. Our goal through this event and others, is to expose this serious issue to as many people as possible, do our part by raising money to build a shelter, and to help Stay Classy and San Diego Youth Services in reaching their goal of raising $500,000 dollars to give these children a safe place to call home, and most of all, to let them know that there are people who still care. It's certainly not a complete solution for all of the abandoned children on the streets, but it's a start.
On May 2, 2009, Mission Bay Park in San Diego, CA, Stay Classy and partners is holding a Music and Art Festival event called the Elemental Experience to reach out towards the Abandoned Youth Campaign.
