Dear Valued Customer:
As you may already know, San Diego Gas and Electric (SDG&E) is raising the price of energy starting on September 1, 2013.
The estimated increase to RedOrum’s Datacenter power costs is 6.3%. Rather than pass this entire amount to our customers, we have elected to minimize the impact by passing along just 5.0%. Invoices for services related to power circuits starting October 1, 2013 will reflect a total charge per power circuit that includes the 5.0% upcharge.
Please keep in mind that SDG&E is considering additional rate increases relating to commodity pricing that would impact both you and RedOrum. We will keep you informed of any new developments from the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
Although we have no control over the rates that SDG&E charges, please be assured that RedOrum is 100% focused on delivering innovative and trusted enterprise-class IT infrastructure solutions at the very best possible value. Our team will work to optimize your environment for maximum reliability at the lowest cost. Additionally, there are expense reduction options available via migration to RedOrum cloud services.
Every employee at RedOrum appreciates your business and we thank you for your continued support. For further information regarding your options, your invoice, or the SDG&E energy rate increase, please contact your RedOrum sales representative, visit our website at www.redorum.com.
Thank you,
RedOrum LLC
